ABOUT
Clive Jacobson comes from South Africa and graduated from the Johannesburg College of Art in 1976. Jacobson, moved to New York City in 1984, where he continued practicing as an award winning graphic artist and illustrator and as an adjunct professor at NYU (New York University).
Jacobson started painting portraits and landscapes in oils around 2006, and works from his studio in lower Manhattan, and in collaboration with the artist Robin Joy Riggsbee, they created the book, Jacobsonjoy, which sold out at MOMA New York in 2012.
Jacobson's work was recently selected to be exhibited at the AD ART SHOW 2020 at the Oculus, World Trade Center in September 2020.
