Clive Jacobson graduated from the Johannesburg College of Art, South Africa, and in 1984 moved to New York, where he continued practicing as a multi- award winning graphic artist and illustrator (clivejacobson.com), and as an adjunct professor at NYU (New York University).

 

Jacobson started painting portraits and landscapes in oils around 2006, and works from his studio in lower Manhattan.

 

In collaboration with the artist Robin Joy Riggsbee, he created the book, Jacobsonjoy, which sold out at MOMA New York in 2012. 

Jacobson's work was selected to be exhibited at the AD ART SHOW 2020 at the Oculus, World Trade Center, New York in September 2020.
